Badminton in the Cotswolds
We are a small club who meet every Monday in the school Sports Hall of the Cotswold School in Station Road, Bourton-on-the-Water. We run two clubs, Beginners and Juniors (from 6:45pm to 7:45pm), Seniors (including experienced Juniors) from 7:45pm to 10pm

We are a small club who meet every Monday in the school Sports Hall of the Cotswold School in
Station Road, Bourton-on-the-Water. We run two clubs
6:45 to 7.45pm - Beginners and Juniors - Members currently pay is £2.00 if in full time education.
7.45pm to 10.00pm - Seniors (16 years old plus and more experienced Juniors)
Members currently pay is £3.50 (£2.50 if in full time education)
Yearly Membership is currently £3 for Juniors and £6 for Seniors
Non members have to pay and additional £1 for each session attended and all players must book before attending
There are four courts in the school hall and there is a drinks fountain for refilling water bottles and toilet facilities
We play in the Evesham Badminton League - a Mixed team and a Mens team. The league season runs from October until April.
GDPR
The new GDPR regulations came into force in May 2018. These are new guidelines for personal data protection.
Under these new guidelines, we are required to inform anyone that we hold data about them. We also need to say how we use the data.
We have emails addresses and some mobile phone numbers of members, which we have gathered over the years by asking you for these details, or being given them by you. This is the only information of yours that we hold. However, under 18’s have a written consent form held on a data base with a paper contact detail’s sheet taken to every session to be used in an emergency, in addition to their emails addresses. The emergency contact details are accessed by our committee members and the 4 volunteers who run the junior sessions.
This information is used only by the badminton club to contact you in relation to badminton times, parent rotas, matches etc. The information is not shared with anyone else, and it is kept on in the club email account, and phone numbers that have be given are kept on by 3 committee members which are used to contact you about changes in matches etc.
